No Keystone Light, chumps!

My alltime fave is Aventinus, a dopplebock weizen.

You've got a wine bar? When are we invited? :)

dont know what you mean with term "high-end beer" :sarcasm:
but for me it's this one, no doubt.

ONLY brewed in Plzen,

.... and ONLY tap with help of air from cooled tanks!!!

everywhere I'm on planet Earth, I always miss that taste, ... always

Tom, you started this, and your suggestion certainly merits investigation.
Erik: Bitte ein Bit, my brother.
Pilsner Urquell rocks, too. Other honorable mentions are Grolsch and Terrapin Ale (the greatest of the hoppy beers). I feel a bit emasculated, having no pictures to post, so I'll shout my favorite: PAULANER HEFFEWEISSEN!

(and I thought I hated "off-topic!")

haha, any hefe is good with me. I've got a couple of awesome hefe glasses and everything. I only bust them out when I have authentic german weizen.

During my time in the army in Bavaria I must have downed about an Olympic swimming pool's worth of various brands of Hefe! ;) Which was always nice when we had to do our 5-mile runs the next morning. ;)

I'm in an experimental beer phase...it happens every few years. I'll have to give this a try while I still have an open mind.

It's very hard to find, but worth it.

Report back if you find it.

Ah a challenge! There literally appear to be thousands of different brands of beer at Beverages and More. I can't believe in all these years I'd never gone in. I'll let you know if I find it.

Drizzt, what's up with all the bottles looking identical?

When I start drinking beer my lower end becomes my higher end rather quickly!! Currently drinking Castle Beer down here in south Africa......will be supping a few other options in the coming weeks / months. Will post piccies soon, ionce this head clears up!

... 1 ...

(the reason for a count down is because this beer is so good that just saying it will be too powerful and people need warning) ... (and also because those big pictures are annoying and I want my post on the next page).
