  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

man that is a lame lame site. let me count the ways.


first of all, it hurts my eyes just to read stuff over there, reduser.net is way better for reading and navigating.

second, its SO annoying to have to visit two forums now, but im sure it wont ever come to that.

why would anyone make a new forum for red, and one that is exactly the same as reduser? why would anyone want a new forum when redteam is already on reduser. why would anyone want to spread things thin, cause a disturbance like that site?

and all their topics and posts and "hot news items" are just copy and pastes from reduser, it just doesnt make any sense.

I totally agree. I find it kinda pathetic, showing lack of imagination and originality.
 
Hey guys, be nice! At least he's doing something....I'm not quite sure why he's doing it, but hey, I couldn't make a forum like that.

Maybe he made it before there was a reduser.net...
 
i remember mentioning laser engraving a while back and Jarred said that it was decent and that they'd 'look into it'. well, i hope it'd actually an option!

i'd name mine Revo, or Charlie, or put my company name on there.
 
Based on how much this camera will become a family member, I think that many of us could call it:

"Mini Me"

Then if anyone says the name on set you could reply,

"you complete me"

just because you put a lot of work into something doesnt mean its a good idea

doesnt matter if redcamcentral came before reduser.net or DVXUSER (pretty sure there was nothing before dvxuser, at least nothing where Jim and company were talking to us.

CLEARLY there is an official forum, where jim and team post to the users, why make something that will just spread things (thin) around and confuse people, make things more tedious to gather information. its just a pain in the ass (well, not yet, and i hope it stays that way.. who wants to go around checking every single forum....?

its just pointless and messes everything up.

chris when you first wrote "quite an interesting experience" i thought your feelings were on the same lines as i, but now with your be nice and 'at least hes doing something' its clear your just a caseygreen fanboy! haha
