my problem is that i want to put the EVF on the right side of the body.
then everything is headfirst. is there any possibility to flip the projected picture in the EVF, just like i do with the viewfinder prism rotating knob on 16 and 35mm-cameras?

hope somebody can help me

I would love this feature also.

Being a lefty (when it comes to my prefered eye for shooting) I would like to be able to put the EVF on the right side of the camera. Red - any chance we will one day see this feature on the Red One ?

Cheers,
Damien

You can use some Zacuto parts to wrap around the viewfinder, mounting it on the left and still correct side up.

We did it for a lefty DP, used a side handle on the right of the camera, then screwed the LCD (longer) arm at the bottom of it, folded to a 90° angle upwards with the EVF at the other end of it. Worked pretty good if tightened like crazy...

I'm a lefty and I'm not sure I'd like to have my head on the dumb side of the camera with all the wires sticking out. That said, extending the viewfinder over to your left eye prevents you from using your right eye for peripheral vision. More or less a lose-lose situation. Shooting Digibeta, I dreamed of having this though...
