Upgraded this morning but it still wasn't working. About to cross the 2hr threshold on the phone with a crack tech support rep. #funsucker #notworking #makethehurtingstop
@ Adam apologies.....
Tell that to the 35 million users who's accounts have been hacked....I'm not sure they will so readily agree .
P.S. Whilst I commend the willingness for adapting to the new I wish they would spend an equal measure on adapting to the new realities of data security.
Question for David and the Adobe team.
We PC folks jump through a few hoops to export out ProRes deliverables which is pretty standard for broadcast delivery and other uses these days. It's going to likely be around for a while too.
While I know Apple is reluctant to encode via Windows, would it be possible to add "official" support for FFMBC and FFMPEG so we can pump out the various formats they support?
I've been encoding ProRes on the PC for a long time now. I don't really see a reason at this point to be so OS exclusive on this matter anymore.
With this new rad workflow I can see specifically for broadcast how this would be very handy.
Thanks.
Tehben, I had to go into PP and update from the Help pull down.
Yeah I cannot figure out how to get the update... help.
Hi Paul,
I checked out some older threads on this and it seemed that some found it to be intermittent.
I know that I checked this during our dev cycle and it was working. I'll dig around a bit more tonight and will let you know what I see on my end.
