Not sure if anybody that had the camera checked this, but how much of the camera's latitude is mapped into a redlog ungraded export? Everyone talks about how much can be pulled out of the raw, but how much is there in a standard log export? I have many clients who don't want to have to go to the raw image and just want a straight export. Does the Dragon sensor show any gains in that scenario over the MX, besides being cleaner at higher ISOs?

I ran off some quick tests using the .R3Ds I posted. Fairly trivial to do really.

Straight REDcolor3/REDlogFilm into various formats. As far as I can tell it's all there. You'll want to go into a file type that can support that level of work-ability in post. I often have to delivery DPX or EXR and they look great and grade great.
