  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

One last shot...

With the exception of the R, I'm assuming the rest of the reservation specifics are the same as the earlier reservations?

Thanks so much for doing this. I still won't be a reservation holder... still broke ... but it's going to be a great thing for a lot of people.

Titanium R

Titanium R

Hello,

What, no titanium R? Heck, I still have not been given my res. number! I was charged by Red last fall though. I have the visa statement, but thats all. Not even an email, fax or call for confirmation.

I just assumed they were swamped with getting the camera together.

Happy New Year!
Greg

Hi Jim/everyone,

I have a couple of questions - (and I did conduct a forum search) but couldn't find any thread that answered the following questions:

The fee for the reservation?

Expected delivery time of the new reserved cameras?

Will the units be body only or is there an onboard monitor/eyepiece?

Can we reserve the 18-85mm lens in this new reservation period?

When do the flash units ship? Do they require a reservation? Is there any means of recording in the meantime?

Many thanks

James

Will people who reserve this time be garunteed $17,500 for the camera body?

Greg: I would contact the RED office to confirm all this. Kelly should also read the boards, but to make sure you are taken care off contact the office.

jtm: I assume the reservation for the camera will be $1000, the zoom lens $1000 as well and $500 for the 300mm prime lens

18-85 (zoom lens) should be available for reservation indeed

Storage options will be available when the camera ships, I don't know which ones for how much.

I'll let Jim answer the other questions

Rob, if that's the case, I am so frackin' there.
Thank you all from RED.

 I wonder what the response to this opportunity will be north of the border (Canada)?

I don't know wether to celebrate or cry. An initial period of RED exclusivity for current reservation holders in a given market could be financially beneficial. ;)

Back to work, gotta scratch that loot together to pay for the Lens rez.

Hey Bro Anansi, I thought I was Red One rez #1073!

-Stu

thats what it says on my RED ONE rez contract #1.

Guess we'll have to fight it out in the alley behind RED HQ when we arrive at the same time for the pick up

LOL - falling off my chair...

Do I see a 1073a and 1073b in the future?
Knife fighting can be so bloody...
