LIMITED Amount of RPP Sets now on RED.com

[Brent Carter]

We have been able to kit together some more RED PRO PRIME sets. Very limited amount available. Very.

These are all sold as "battle-tested" so they come with a 90 day warranty. Before, it was $19,000 for a set of five primes. Now, this deal is six lenses (18mm, 25mm, 35mm, 50mm, 85mm, 100mm) plus the compact lens case for same price. Lenses will ship in the case.

These are very, very lightly used lenses - to the point where you should not even notice any difference between a new RED PRO PRIME and these units. We simply cannot legally sell them as new. So, battle-tested it is : )

This is one hell of a deal and a proper full range of glass.

[Jens Rosengren]

Fantastic deal! I wish I had 19,000 dollars lying around, then, these would be mine!

[Samir Patel]

wow. I take too long to visit reduser today and boom. Wish I had $19000 laying around too. No wait... must focus on saving for Dragon.

[Terry VerHaar]

Buy five, get the sixth one free! (What has RED come to? - LOL)

[D Anderson]

There's a few sets for sale just now at this price.

I bet those sellers found this news spoiled their day.

[Patrick Grossien]

Oh man. I wish I had the dough! What a great offer!

Would love to grab this.... Sigh!

Brent, when the new RPPs started going out of stock, I'm 99% sure I remember Jarred posting that they had sold out faster than expected, a second batch would be ordered from the manufacturer, but there would be a VERY long lead time (as in a couple of years?).

Am I remembering correctly and does that statement still hold, do you know?

Thanks

Mike

[Brent Carter]

Mike, I don't exactly remember that discussion. I just know what we have on-hand right now : )

[Shawn Nelson]

Wow! Amazing deal! Just make sure you keep a good stock of elements so these lenses can be repaired for years to come! I love my RPPs so much.

[ericyoung]

Darn it - going to buy my lottery ticket!

[Ketch Rossi]

On top of the FANTASTIC deal on this SET needs to be said again, that in my purchasing experiences with "Battle Tested" lenses from RED, I have NOT found any discernible differences form the NEW ones!!

[William Albertini]

I am sitting on my hands so I don't go to the freezer and start thawing out the emergency credit card I have stored there...

[Isaac Marchionna]

Great price. If I wasn't worried about coverage issues with Dragon I'd swing for these. Weird time to be buying glass. THAT said, these are an awesome deal.

BT Imperial Sets are sold out. Only a few left in Metric.

I sure hope Red is keeping some in stock in case that any existing owners have irreparable damage to their lenses in the future.
