Hello everybody,
I am trying to conform a FCP7 Sequence (original final cut express) in Davinci Resolve.
It is possible to conform via XML, but then I found out that there are a lot of clips out of sync, that means: the correct clip is in the correct place in the timeline, but the TC is sometimes 17 seconds sometimes 2 seconds of. Something like 18 clips out of 30 are out of sync.
When I go back to FCP7 Sequence I found out, that all the clips with problems have been subcliped and renamed to scene numbers.
The clips without problems still carry the original filename (A00x_C00x) in the timeline.
I tried then to export an EDL out of FCP7 - looking at the EDL in text editor shows that the problematic clips don't look different in the EDL.
Any hint / workaround?
Best wishes and kind regards,
Martin
