Thanks Peter.Hey Jake, you do yourself a dis-service. While the manual is excellent and everyone should read it, you also investigate the detail to use more of Resolve's features than many users. We don't always agree Jake but we do appreciate your ongoing support to the new Resolve users who have yet to dive into the manual.
Peter
Switch to the disk database. It's all in the manual. For a single user it is much better.
Peter/Jake,
Is there a way to create a new Disk Database, and migrate into it the projects of the current SQL-based being used?
Please advise,
Select your new database. Login as a user. On the Project Manager page, select the "Show/Hide Group Projects" icon in the lower left (Looks like a soccer ball). In the drop down list at the top of the left hand window area, select the database that has the projects you want to Import into the current database. Then select the User with the projects you want to Import into the new database. Now select a project, right click, and select Import. It will append (Copy) to the end of the name, but you can remove that if desired. The only painful part is that you must do this one project at a time.
Dwaine,
Thanks for the procedure...! Is there a similar way to migrate the Power Grades, too?
Regards,
