  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Has anyone made experience with TILTA?

Curious myself! I like the look of their FF! Cool looking stuff.

Nice looking stuff - thanks!
$$ on Cinegearpro is in British POUNDS so not such a fab $$ once shipping and conversion considered... US Distributor would ease that considerably, methinks.

I have the handles, a v-mount plate and the monitor arm.

Handles- Pretty damn solid. I have been using them on a Red one shoulder rig. Hard to beat for the money.

The V-mount plate I am not a hug fan of. Its the unit they sell for the BM Hyperdeck. Built well but some of the power cables are unreliable.

Monitor Arm is pretty soild with a small HD DP4 with EVF.

Tilta has really bold sort of futurist-sci-fi/Terminator style designs.
Some of the early stuff people complained about durability but seems
like they have improved on that issue and you don't see many complaints
online at all really.

IKAN is now the North American distributor as of now.

Houston, TX (PRWEB) June 20, 2013

ikan Corporaton (Houston) and Tilta Technology Company Ltd (Shenzhen, China) have signed a major distribution deal, making ikan the exclusive distributor of Tilta production gear in North America. The agreement opens the door to markets in the United States, Mexico and Canada, with sales of Tilta products through ikans dealer channels or on the ikan website beginning in July.

since last week own a tilta shouldermount and a (adjustable!!!) battery plate. it was much more difficult then expected to find a 15 and 19mm vmount battery solution which is adjustable as well...

everything performs well and i'm 100% satisfied. lets check that in a year again :-)

aaahhhhh, the baseplate and cage are looking nice, maybe i'll give them a chance...

love it.

why i would not buy their mattebox? because i trust in the products i already use.
but maybe these are build well.
every chinese mattebox and follow focus i have seen so far does not meet my requirements in quality.

regards, norbert

Thank you.

I have looked everywhere for a review on the new double sided Tilta FF-T04, which would be their first attempt for a Pro follow focus. It looks nice and well built, but... Has anyone bought or tried one?
