Stumbled across this series which I assume is from the Blu-ray.

I quickly searched the forum but nothing came up on them. Apologize if this is a double post. They have been up for over a year so the chances are high.

If you haven't seen the vignettes they are well worth your time. Awesome look at a guy and a team who are pushing it pretty hard.

I think there are 18 or 20 in total. Very cool.

I loved the baseball wobble trick.

Nice link, thanks for this.

I found the film very engaging and enjoyed it excepting the violent bits.

Whats interesting is theres innovation going on here with the camera and particularly make best use of its plus points on size.

Great to see this and lots to learn from it.

I really dig David's method. He really tears into removing the reality and submerging into the project. I'll have to find a way to at least operate for him one day and hell if possible shadow him for a shoot.

Also, anybody shooting Red should study Jeff Cronenweth's work. And any aspiring cinematographer should check out his lighting setups. Love the subtle and sometimes playful balance between practicals and setup keys. Smart stuff really.

Either there's two different versions of the "BTS Subway-scene" or this is on the Blu-ray.

This is one of the several BTS featurettes found on the Blu-ray.

Conenweth is awesome, I love his work. A great guy to talk to as well.
