  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Bringing this to life was a pleasure.

The idea...a handle which fits the hand like a glove, causes minimal strain and brings a creative feel to a creative tool.

This is the outcome.

Handle can be acquired through:

EDIT:

More pictures of a finished handle on pages 5 and 7.

The following was taken during development:

Work in progress, still some tweaking left.

Thanks, guys.

My hand informed me it hated the pipes and stuff and had a bunch of requests, so I listened. The eye had a few requests as well.
This changes the feeling to what it should be.

Still a few things left to improve...

Wow...Grade Design .. when n market?

Thank you guys, I really appreciate it.

There is a lot of love put into this. I've improved the design a bit.

Regarding mass production, I'm getting the same requests from close colleagues who seem to have trouble letting it go. :)
I can check the options after I'm satisfied with this.
It should be mentioned that the industrial design protection is being taken care of.

this is one wonderful piece of art, if I might say so.

looks like its crafted by hand, and its the best good looking handle Ive seen so far

congrats

Thank you Constantine. It was envisioned as a sculpture honoring the Craft, the Cinematographer and the hand which connects him to his tool.
Crafted by hand.

Refined some curves and shapes. Less bulky appearance, more elegant and organic overall feel.
Improved thumb position, fingertip angles & palm fit.

Also, likely reduced wind drag. To a minor extent. Probably more noticeable at >200 Km/h though.
Can't be too careful about a wind drag.

Mounting solution is on the way, plus the optimal protective treatment of the wood necessary to cope with continuous on-set usage.

I have managed to check the options for a proper production of this handle.
Respected creative colleagues with interest can contact me over a PM.
