  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

GROUP BUY: RTMotion Wireless Multi-Channel Follow Focus - Limited Time!

When do the orders go live?

Also is there any way to get long power cables (d-tap) as an extra, I was hoping I could run the power down the post of the Steady to the battery plate.. would need approx 4ft/1.2m or is the power cable some type of standard that can be order from someplace known?

cheers

Hi Roy! I see. It might be best to offer an extension cable, that way you can "extend" any of the power cables, rather than for us to duplicate all cables in different lengths. Power cables are 60mm, would an extra 1m be the safest?

We're just adding some new items to the shop (new cables that have been requested mostly) and then the offer codes will go live!

Hi guys, the motor brackets are now in the main price rather than an add-on, that's all- the end price is exactly the same! It's less confusing that way,

Also the cost of the slider (~$450) upgrade which is being offered free for a limited time in the BASIC kit, the cost has been removed from the 2/3 motor kits, so that's a price drop for those.

Sounds good!

Love that idea, I think 1 meter is a safe length.

very nice

I have one of these (RT Motion) arriving in a week or so, I can report back on it if anyone would find that useful?

Few more clarification please:
- Can SLR lenses with no hard stops be manually mapped to whole range of FOCUS knob?
- How much power (W) does the receiver + one motor in motion draw? - the average EPIC/Scarlet power draw is 60W
(different batteries support different max. power draw, so I would like to know the total amount of power draw for camera+receiver&motor to check if it is OK to use one battery to power both systems )

I would definitely be interested in using some sort of power-solution that works straight from the power-junction on the ProLine system.

Also, I'm a bit confused now as to how much the system will cost. When I joined I assumed the basic 1-motor kit with the free slider upgrade would cost £1950 (without rebate) with the motor-clamp included. Is it now £2050 or what are we looking at?

The motor clamps were and option originally. It's included in the package now and the price adjusted accordingly.

Thanks everyone, we're at 50, we filled this much quicker than expected! Emailing out the discount codes shortly!

I'm going to keep the list open til we reach about 60 (there are a couple duplicates and some people might drop out), and then we'll close it. If there is a lot of interest we might do a second round, but we'd have to tweak the timeframe as obviously we don't want to over-commit and miss any deadlines.

... already own it :-)

congrats guys, you choosed a nice product.
aaaaaarrrrrggghhhhh, it seems i bought it too early :-(

Anyone know the difference between the Red Epic bundle and the Basic Bundle? They both cost the same and seem to include the exact same stuff except for a few accessories that cost an additional charge. Do we know if there's a powersolution for ProLine users? Which one would that be, in that case?

The only difference is that the EPIC bundle makes recommendations on common accessories that EPIC users use! All kits will work well with the EPIC so long as you have a power cable (DTAP to your battery, or +1 power cable to the +1 module) and a run/stop cable if you need that.

Do you have a manual?

Sheesh I step away from Reduser for a couple days and we miss this gem of a deal. I'm in for a few systems if there's a second list or dropouts. The link no longer allows user input.

Has anybody received an email with the group buy discount coupon code? I registered earlier this week before the list filled up, but haven't seen any type of confirmation email yet... I'd like to get my order placed to secure a package. Thanks again Kris! Very cool of you guys to offer this group buy!

Also interested. Thought list was open until 15th :(

@Kris: I'm also still waiting for a confirmation-mail with further instructions? I think I hopped on in time...
Did not notice any Email the last few days... Spam-folder cleared - if you could resend it it would be great :)
my Mail-addy; p.whitegrey[at]web.de

thank you :)

Perhaps I missed it but I'm curious which wireless FF system you opted for for ur Movi? Guessing weight was a factor. Can you elaborate?

Thanks,
PCG

We have two great systems here and some great deals thanks to Carey and Bob. RedUser me like.
