Speedgrade LUT question

Hey all

Quick question: In Speedgrade I've got a perfectly exposed clip in RedLogFilm and when I add a LUT (say Kodak 2383) the image becomes extremely underexposed. I then have to raise the gain to get it back to where it should be but it looks like it introduces lots of noise. Am I missing something here?

Have you gone into the timeline tab in Speedgrade and made sure it is set to REDlogfilm? I think it defaults to REDgamma3. What you are describing sounds like what happens when LUTs are stacked (a LUT on top of RG3 for example).
