  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

EPIC STILLS

Very inspiring to see such great stills pulled from the EPIC. I'm just on my phone right now, can't wait to have a proper look later at a bigger screen


I have just started to try to pull some stills from our Epic, but I seem to have problems getting as sharp images as you guys. Some of it is probably down to the lenses, but we got a Canon 1DC on Friday for a certain project and the stills pulled from that 4K film seems to be sharper (same canon glass).
I'm guessing it's down to the images processing in post (or rather lack of) for the RED files. I really would like to know what I can do to improve the RED grabs, or what I should read up on to better understand.

PS Everything was shat with high shutter speeds.
