There will be some moving images to follow (and a complete lighting breakdown at my blog), but I'm super excited to share my latest lighting test....funnily enough, I was inspired to try this sort of lighting after watching behind the scenes of No Country For Old Men. I took it a step further with some back-light and some beauty grading, but none the less, I'm really keen to play with this kit some more. I lit this with some worker's lights, a bed sheet and what I call..."The Mother Reflector" hehe ;)

I'll be doing a full lighting set up diagram and write-up at my blog soon (www.mattscottvisuals.com)

Nice

Link isn't working.

And just stick it onto large sheets of styrofoam insulation.

Good stuff.

If you want the same reflectivity in a more durable material, check out reflectix insulation.

It is like the foil you used, but made more durable because it is laminated:

Thanks Matt and Bob, We are testing some of our new LED Light engines this will be perfect for and more cost effective for building reflection panels.

And just stick it onto large sheets of styrofoam insulation.

Yup, I just cut it to the same size as a piece of foam core from the art store and slapped a piece of gaff tape all around the edge.

White on one side, super shiny on the other.
