  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Is Michael Bay a Red shooter now?

That video makes me want to get a 9" RED Touch LCD... (and an Epic)

He he, yea MB had shot Epic before but not as good as on this shoot for VS... ;)

And yet, absolutely got to have the 9", we'll never go back to anything smaller... Only issue, the girls now are always wanting to see Playbacks... ;)

KETCH, Be careful of letting them get too close to your 9"er!!! The last time I did landed me a kid 9 months later!! hahahahah

I've heard he like to shoot close-ups on 35mm, but everything else on digital now. I've seen him near Epics, Alexas and F35s on some bts photos from the sets. Watching last Transformers movie I noticed the change from digital to analog pretty soon, closeups are always more grainy than the rest.

He's been shooting the VS ads for the past year and a half on Epics entirely.

This is from earlier in the year:

On 0:20 and 1:45 that is definitely a film camera on the techno. Either way, this girl is insanely beautiful and now I have to order the 9 incher ;-)

You guys are just too much... Besides I'm back home in Italy now, and we use Metric system... ;)

Ketch,

The metric system just makes it SEEM bigger... remember, it's not! Even though the number is bigger, it's just not!

Yes, the 9" is superb. I could not imagine using anything ... smaller... for an important job.

Cheers

Yes, this is what I say to every one, and at every shoot every one agrees, it is a superb working tool, and a great viewing option directly on camera.

I guess when you're Michael Bay, there's always someone there to put their hand on your barrel.
