  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Thanks Phil. The Red Mag doesn't show up as Superspeed or High Speed (when the SSD is mounted). It is transferring at usb3 speeds when mounted. Strange. Still, if anyone uses a Retina and a usb3 Red Station mini, please let me know if you too have the same issue of no bus power.

So you get power and data from just the usb 3 cable, and you don't need a second cable to or the adapter to power it?

Would be VERY useful to have usb3 offloading. Cannot imagine anything else :(

I am getting an update on those readers tomorrow, actually.

EDIT: We should be shipping these again by the end of the week.

Love the Bright Tangerine Strummer MB, it is all an other level of MB, and for what it offers is actually very well priced, especially if you think about the Arri quality/price, but I would have not sold the Red MB if I would had known that the 138mm Rotating filter was coming out, so I might just buy an other one, but only as a clip on.

Stephen, a topic that you can find a few lively discussions on if you search REDUSER. LEMO connectors are great - but they are not cheap. Anything with a LEMO on it, you can expect it to be priced accordingly.
