  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Curious: Wonder if anyone has received their BT RED ONE MX yet.

I was wondering about mine as well, I haven't recieved it. Nor any word from my bomb rep. My assumption is they are touching the devices up, double checking they run up to their standards before shipping. Just an aassumption though, if that is the case I do not mind the extra wait.
 
QC and QC and More QC, Im Sure they dont want to deal with the Headache of having to Rush a SET replacement of a RED ONE that is Shooting something Important . Like A Movie and Stuff..;0
 
I just find it odd that no one has reported yet that they have received one. Considering that it was on the 1st that the new price was announced. I understand that now they list as 2-3 weeks to process orders. I ask because when they first announced the new price I believe it was still listed as a 2-3 day processing until the orders ramped up. Additionally, I would have expected that if they intended to sell these as BT RED Ones that they would have had some of them sitting in stock somewhere and I would have expected that they would have gone through plenty of QC already. Also curious if some of these are going to go out as brand new RED Ones which were never originally sold but now labeled as BT because they are essentially EOL'd. Once received is it possible to check how many hours that they have been used?
 
It's narrowing into the 2 week period. If it's for quality control, it's totally fine. Would be nice for an official update though.

Just got an update that mine has moved along in the processing conveyor belt of QC and shipping is imminent. They once again mentioned that their moving to an updated ERP system is causing an extended delay. I have since ordered some more accessories and got a reply that due to the volume of orders coming in they are experiencing slightly increased processing times. A perfect storm; ERP update, drastically lower prices and BT Scarlet deal. Rumor is that those who don't complain (much) will receive a free RED T-shirt for their patience. I know it's a rumor because I just started it!
 
That's a bummer. I was hoping to receive it soon. Since I've only worked with a Scarlet I was hoping to run some multi-camera tests with it and was considering purchasing even another one. Guess by the time I actually receive it the stock with run out anyway.

OOOPS! I have a BT Scarlet on order, not the RED ONE. Sorry for my confusion.

Any idea what the abbreviation ERP means?
 
We place an order on the BT Red One on Nov. 4th. No updates at all yet. Anyone else order a R1 around that time? Have you received any updates?
