Has anyone been experiencing memory issues wth CS6.0 and R3D files? The purge command has become my new best friend lately and often I have to purge memory even after closing down Premiere or Media Encoder. I've even noticed that with Premiere memory set to 12GB and leaving 4GB for everything else, with nothing running except Premiere it will jump from 8-9GB available during an export to 500MB available. Is there a known leak that could be causing this issue?

Cheers.

Hi Al,

Have you updated Premiere? What about the Epic Labs patches?
There have been some good fixes. Make sure you update PR, THEN update the 2 epic labs patch files.

If that doesn't fix it, let me know. (it should)

Wes do you have link to the epic labs patches? I can't find them..

Hey Al,

Just google Epic Importer Adobe and it will pop right up.

I'm going to post some instructions to make it easier for peeps very soon.

Remember to update first. (If you are using a Retina MacBook Pro I would stick with 6.0.1 for a bit - otherwise feel free to update to 6.0.2 which will be suggested by the regular ole' Adobe updater.

Keep me posted!

Hey Wes. Thanks for the info, now I know what you're referring to, I thought you were talking about 2 different patch files but I see it's the 2 importer files. All downloaded and updated and things look good so far apart from updating PPro to 6.0.2 deleted all my preview files in my project. Not sure what happened there.. oh well.

Cheers.
