I am looking for high-end neighborhoods in the greater LA area. The catch is, I need them in an area where the film permits are a reasonable cost. Any communities fit this bill?

Thanks,
Phil

Depends on what "reasonable" means to you, but I would explore Brentwood and surrounding communities.

Phil,

Pasadena will cost us around $5000 a day for shooting from a car with camera mounts. That's steep for us.

Jack, thanks for the contact info!!

Alta dena is a great place to try.

Long Beach. They have a film office and are very film-friendly. The Virginia Country Club area is very swank. You'll recognize it from a lot features and commercials.

Hancock Park in LA is great for older style big houses and big yards.
East of Highland Ave. from Melrose down to Wilshire
Not sure what the permits would cost. If you find out let us know.
