I wasn't trimming my r3d footage before going to my premiere/after effects steps ... and things were going a bit slow ... till I "found" (ok ... i'm sure all you experts been using this forever) ... the R3D trim export command.
It is speeding up my entire workflow, since when I load and scrub through long shots, it only has to look at a section of the r3d file (which btw is copied to a new file, so I can also save off all my footage I don't use). Any hot tips for using the trim command?
