I noticed that the histogram seems different on the epic from the Red One. When exposing, I used to push the histogram all the way to the right with the Red One. Now it seems like I can't do that on the Epic as it overexposes - is this the case? How do you expose with your epic's histogram?

I've noticed the same issue. I also see that the histogram now changes depending on your ISO setting, whereas I remember with the RED 1 it remained tied to the raw. I'm finding the histogram less useful in its current form.

I set a hotkey on the DSMC Side Handle to punch over to "Raw Feed" and that pretty much makes this a none issue for me.

The histogram only changes if you're not monitoring RAW. On the touchscreen click on the histogram and turn on RAW monitoring to view the histogram without ISO changes.

Histogram on RED ONE monitors the RGB signals, so it is measuring video values after ISO setting... unless you selected VIEW = RAW

Elementary question of the day..Still not clear on what to look for when looking at histogram...I see what its doing when I;m over or under exposed drastically..but it there an optimal histogram level that can tell me I'm at near perfect exposure???? Thanks..sorry for the easy q
