An over-excited extra with exceptionally bad aim re-decorated our Scarlet on the weekend.

Shooting a music clip where a bunch of extras had to throw around 'Holi' festival powder was scary. No damage was done and easily cleaned with a blast of compressed air. Just shows how tough these cameras are!

Overall, Im very happy with the results.

I'd really like to see his video when it's finished

...and tell your producer to remember that extra's ritalin next time!

HAH! Nice! Considering that the cooling duct is sealed off from the rest of the internals of the camera, it makes sense that you really shouldn't have to worry about something like this... especially since that 16-35 has a rubber seal around the mount, that makes things even safer.

I have to say, I clicked on this ready to roll my eyes, thinking "great, here we go with someone else wanting to color (power-coat) their Scarlet black like the EPIC..."

Hah... sure am glad I clicked.

Haha! I have to say that I kinda had that in mind when naming the thread.

Thanks Trevor.

Some very nice imagery there! Nice work.

Great images Harry, what kind of jib did you use, and were you happy with it?

i love hippy chicks, great images!

Damn Harry, that guy bottom left, looks like you got Viggo Mortensen to star in your Music clip! :)

Nice shots. What lenses? Post sharpening applied?

"not to worry, it is only rental"

Just kidding, nice images, Harry.

This isnt shot on the RED, but it sure is spectacular.
Stunning visuals from another Holi shoot, this time in India though :)
