  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

This has been a great RIDE, and I'm truly thankful to the dozens of submissions, by both REDUSER members and friends of REDUSER members alike, your submissions were amazing, but my needs were very specifics so I only could chose what exactly give me what I needed!!

However, since the submissions, presented me with a very difficult decision on which logo to go with, I then decided to go with individual logos for each company and organization, taking a total of "4" logos.

Leaving me with the dilemma to chose how to split the reward, beside the initial payment.

Coming to the conclusion that the 10K initially offered as a reward, was not sufficient for 4 LOGOS...

For this I have decided and informed the Chosen Logo designers, that there will be a Total Reward of "30k"

"20k" wil go to Patrick Grossien and Petra Maisenbacher which design together the logos for "KETCH ROSSi STUDiOS, KETCH ROSSi INDUSTRiES and KETCH ROSSi HUMANiTAS".

and

"10k" will go to Joseph Mancha which designed the logo for "KETCH ROSSi TREE of LiFE".


"20k" will be further reward for the designing of the conceptual vistas of the "KETCH ROSSi TREE of LiFE" Megaproject to Manuele Trullu, which like the others has worked tirelessly with me in this past weeks ot bring all the changes neded till I was happy.


Oh... One more thing, be prepared to be truly BLOWN away off your CHAIRS as I'm about to make an important announcement... ;)

I want to see if amongst our growing community there are some Artists that can draw and create a logo... ;)

What the LOGO finally needs to represent is "LOVE for HUMANITY and our PLANET" DEADLINE is MAY 3O.


Design needs to be based on similar but not exact replica of course of what I have posted here as an idea of Tribal design, which I like it to reflect the style used in the HEART.

What I was thinking was of a very minimalistic drawing of Tribal Lines, representing the following:

MAN & WOMAN

TREE

LOVE

LIFE


NOTE: What is also important is the the design of the letters for the name "KETCH ROSSi STDUDiOS" with the "i" in lower case, I am still looking for the perfect "LETTER" type, so if you have any ideas on this as well, please bring them on... ;)


Either you or a friend can propose a design, which can not be already in use by any one else, neither can be used buy any one else once submitted and accepted as it will be paid for and registered.

PS: Besides the initial payment for the received material, we'll also sign an agreement with the finalist as to receive an additional $10,000 once we sign the corporate papers with the investors, and paid this as an early work as to register all trade mark names and logo.

Yes for sure, however it can be either part of current design or done at a later time.

You mentioned that you want it to look good in 4K glory.... But what about the other way around, how small do you see it being used (eg, as an iPhone icon or web logo). Will there be text with it?

Yes of course the logo will be replicated to as small source as for iPhone Mobile web, as well as printed on Business Cards.


Other then what I said, which is pretty powerful, the logo needs to be simple, NIKE like, with lines executed to hint the purpose and significance, giving presence to the subjects named on first post.

Thanks Josh, I already waisted too much money with various organizations, at the ned they al are just proved to be that, a waist of my time and money, as they all pretend payment for giving you 3 o some 4 options, and if so happens you don't like any you are already F^$%ed out of your money, no thanks, in off of this crap!!

If I take some one photos and they don't like them, I sure can't expect to get paid for something the client is not going to use.
 
I really dislike these competition sites... In fact, I dislike competitions in general.... If someone posted on here "i'd like an 30 second advert filmed for my car delaership, the winner gets $x" ... No one would take part. Yey in the design industry, it seems fair.

If I didn't respect Ketch as a good member of REDuser, I wouldn't even have passed on this info to my wife.
 
My suggestion was to use that site to develope guidelines for your project

Thanks Jay, and I do fill the same way, but for me I just needed ot spread the word and this seems a good idea, I also prefer the money to stay in our Families, other then to go to complete strangers.

Thanks Josh, however the guide lines do little to me as even so I read them, and each have their own, they only but confuse me, I much prefer the results this approach is giving, were some one ask something and some one suggests something.


Once the Studios will have their first facility ready we'll have a design team on site, and then I
ll have it my way were I can have direct communication with them as I much always prefer this way, I'm a very visual hands on kind of person, and I don't do too well in long distance relations with any type of work, especially that of which needs my direct and constant input, which i much better give in person seen things.

That's Userfarm's entire MO. When I called them cheap bastards on twitter they cited Doritos as an example. Which is a bit like buying a thousand lottery tickets as a valid employment opportunity.
