  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

New Dark Knight Rises trailer!

Oooooh YESH.

Nolan and Pfister can shoot film and IMAX as long as they are making films like this and Inception.
 
Grew up on Batman. Really can't wait. Looks like it's going to be a hell of a ride to me.

Between this and a few other features it's going to be a great summer.
 
Pretty good. Prometheus trailer is better, though, IMHO.
 
Trailer fight! I think Prometheus looks amazing as well :) Different style of pacing for sure.
 
They look equally amazing, and I am equally excited to see both, but they are two totally different trailers and I can't compare them.

Which one of the mutiple 'Prometheus'-trailers would that be, Tom? Hehe ;D

But yea, I have to agree with Tom.

To be fair, they are completely different movies. But I feel that the tone of the TDKR trailer is just a tad "we take ourselves too seriously". For a story about a guy who dresses up like a bat it just seems a little too much for me. But hey - Nolan will certainly surprise us again I believe. As they say: In Nolan We Trust (or at least I do) :)

I concur. They haven't done anything to sell the theme or idea behind the movie like they did with The Dark Knight. It's completely generic as far as the trailer goes but there's a good story behind the film and a conflict of ideals as much physical as it is psychological. Instead we just got an average trailer with no coherent lines and no plot. Just a jumble of footage that says "Hey, this shit is gonna be kinda cool.".
