If we are absolutely forced to shoot certain scenes at ISO's as high as 3200 or 6400 with the Red-One, can those takes still be saved within APP CS5.5 with noise reduction, or is there a specific plug-in that would do a better job?

In our wildlife shooting, there is just not always the possibility of shooting with a more agreeable ISO like 800, it is either raise the ISO or don't get the shot. We're already using the lenses wide open, which is also not good, but we have no other choices.

So, sometimes, to get a specific shot under disagreeable light, we have to raise the ISO to a disagreeable level, open the lens up to a disagreeable f-stop, and do the shot. Either that or throw the towel in on it. Changing the speed is not an option.

I'm just hoping that shots like those can be saved in CS5.5, so they will look good back to back with other shots done under more agreeable situations and camera settings.

Any help or advise is appreciated.

Thanks.

After Effects Remove Grain is also a good deal, just takes ages to render, neat video is way faster..
and of course we still dreaming of a hero who will write a good noise reducer that runs on cuda power, so it can be realtimer poppy..

I already have the Neat Video plug-in. Will it do a good enough job?

Thanks.
Yes, but make sure you have the latest which added GPU support. They keep making it better.
