Phil I can't even lie... I stole the idea from you lol.. only problem is I don't think its going to hold the weight of the Red Brick.

Very nice setup right now and it's only gonna get bigger and better. Congrats!

Lol. I'm sure somebody would have thought of it eventually. Initially I was really cautious with the handle and baseplate supporting all that weight, but after using it now for a while it hasn't slipped or failed in any way. Just make sure you tighten everything real good.

Conveniently that rod height with the DSLR baseplate is good for mounting the follow focus on top rods if you want to get funky like that. Very useful for lenses that have focus rings/gears too close to the 15mm LWS clamps.

Beautiful setup! Congratulations John!!!

I love that there's a mic on it! I do hope you get to use that rig for more than just B-roll!

Congrats mate ! But why is the screen a foot above your shoulder pad?

Thank you guys for the awesome comments!!

Phil that's great to know.. I never thought about using the follow focus that way.. I might have to try it out!

lol.. I was waiting for someone to notice that. It's just for the picture, I can drop the monitor with the arm.
