  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Can it be true that Adobe Premiere CS 5.5.2 does NOT recognize Scarlet files?

I'll quote myself from the "Scarlet X Data Sheet" thread that has a sticky at the top of this section:

Adobe Red Importer

In order to work with REDCODE Raw .R3D files natively in Adobe Premiere Pro CS5.5, Adobe After Effects CS5.5, and Adobe Media Encoder CS5.5 you will need to download the latest version of the Adobe Red Importer from here:

http://labs.adobe.com/technologies/redepic_importer/

**Currently does not support the REDCINE-X Pro features under "Post:Look:Effect".
**Update coming soon from Adobe.

Do I remember correctly that after PP is updated you have to go back and manually re-install the appropriate files in the appropriate places?

Thing is, I already had the patch installed - for some reason it did not work after the PP update. A reboot did it. (Mac Pro, OSX 10.7.3)

I'm surprised this and the audio glitch hasn't been fixed, they've known for a while now.
