Can it be true that Adobe Premiere CS 5.5.2 does NOT recognize Scarlet files?

I get the message: "UNSUPPORTED FORMAT OR DAMAGED FILE" when trying to import files from my Scarlet to PP. Files are not "damaged", this I know. Thanks for sharing your experience.

Adobe Red Importer

In order to work with REDCODE Raw .R3D files natively in Adobe Premiere Pro CS5.5, Adobe After Effects CS5.5, and Adobe Media Encoder CS5.5 you will need to download the latest version of the Adobe Red Importer from here:

**Currently does not support the REDCINE-X Pro features under "Post:Look:Effect".
**Update coming soon from Adobe.

Thing is, I already had the patch installed - for some reason it did not work after the PP update. A reboot did it. (Mac Pro, OSX 10.7.3)

no, they were in the right places, but i had to replace the files manually - or maybe just had to reboot, can`t isolate this anymore now.

Be sure to read this thread (go back a ways form this post showing the changes for OS X) for the unsupported 'fix' to get R3D sound in Premiere.

Everry time there is a new update for PP, it overwrites the EPIC importer and you MUST go back and re-install manually AGAIN---this would be good to fix. It's been MANY MONTHS now....
