Putting out some feelers for a DIT in Los Angeles with a small footprint Red Rocket station. Potential work is 14-18 on set days media managing and transcoding or transcoding dailies offsite if our post dept requires it. Shooting starts March 12 and probably goes through April 15th or so. I'd like to present the producers with a couple options (and to see if it's just worth me buying a rocket card and doing it (the dailies transcoding) myself).

Please PM or email me your info and rates. ben@double-bad.com

Thanks!

EDIT: Thanks for all the responses. I'm sure we will be able to find someone. Appreciate everyone reaching out.

Ben,

Are you a professional DIT? Are you being paid for this gig? Please remember done right, this is a tough job.. And "real" DITs not only come with a computer but also a UPS (Major important) and BACKUPS cause anyone that works with computers knows they go down.

I can promise you that with 14 days on set, buying a rocket card will be cheaper. But I can also promise you that you will most likely lose your shirt if you do it yourself. :). That is of course, unless you have nothing else to do that day. :)

Jay, I'm fully aware of all of that stuff, that's why I'm looking to hire a professional DIT.
