  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

My Daughters music video...

I do not see any of your screen shots and before-after shots...So, spill the beans man! ;-)

Hahahah. Mark, your thrown together shoots are far superior to most well thought out and tons of pre pro shoots. Your daughter is a lucky girl man! You killed that video for her.
Of course it wouldnt be a good video if your daughter couldn't sing and at the very least "act like a star", so mad props to her as well!

I gotta say Mark, you exemplify the role of the father. I tip my hat to you for your support in helping your daughter in such a fashion. Your comps look quite nice and overall production is just remarkable with such little time. Congratulations and best of luck to you and your daughter.

Great work Mark. It's all good, but I particularly like the message of the song and the storyline played out by the marriage of the lyrics and visuals. I find many pop music videos vapid nowadays, but this one held my attention to the end. Congratulations and a happy 2012 to all the Toia's.

Hey Mark, As someone who comes from making a living in the music industry (literally born into it..lol) , I find the movie game VERY similar to the music one. Feel free to PM me anytime if you have any questions about the music industry....It is a shark infested industry and I will be glad to help, no strings attached. I've learn so much from many of your posts here on Reduser, especially when I was just starting out in the RED world. :-)
 
Is there anything more fun than making movies with your kids? My eleven year old is editing her first film, made with a Flip...won't be long before she will be wanting to lay hands on the EPIC, I'm sure.

Seriously, your daughter must have freaked when she saw what you did.. Especially so quickly! Even in professional standards, this is crazy fast/crazy good! She has a great look and sound for the generation of GAGA's.. Don't let your clients know how quickly you did it!

This is a great example of how fast and nice things can be produced, when you let creative people just go with the flow.
This is crazy good for the amount of time you put in. I know because I direct and dp music videos regularly.

Your daughter is talented too. It could be a Britney song no one could tell the difference.

So rock on and happy new year down under.

Thanks Tim, Justin.... to everyone that has posted nice comments thanks! .. Brooke is going to be tikled pink when I forward her this link.. I only posted it to share around for a bit of fun. ..she however will be very excited.
I don't do music clips at all, Ive always stayed well clear of them for financial reasons... Been offered many over there years to do., but you can never say No to your daughter.
I love her to death.

Happy new year guys. and thanks again.... I'm feeling like doing another one for her.. see what I can do in 24 hours.... just as a personal challenge. :)))))
