  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

That reaffirms my suspicions that they were catching up on Ti Canon mounts before pumping out Aluminum mounts. So hopefully the flood gates will remain open. I wonder if the camera elves will be back at work on the 26th or if they'll return when RED Irvine returns... Well, they missed my hoped delivery time (today) but I guess I might as well still bring along the batteries and SSDs with me and hopefully my camera will catch up with me somewhere along my travels. :P

Sorry to derail thread...BUT, Mike I checked your site!

I spent 3 months in Tanzania, stayed in a octagonal house over looking Lake Natron and Ol' doinyo Lengui in Maakaat, hung out in Gelai...shot a mini doc of my time there (I was 19 at the time!) I absolutely love that part of the world...very very special.

Seeing the name of your Epic brought back all the memories, thanks!

Did you order the TI mount the 30th of October? That would mean good news for me...

Ok guys,

I've added my SO to the list and the red lines are moving closer. It would be great to know how well maintained the list is as there is an enormous amount of folk in between the red lines that appear not to have received their cameras. I'm assuming you just need to read between the lines (literally) and assume the large majority have already received their cameras but are keeping it quiet.
 
OK, so this is my first post and as I have been following this thread since I placed an order for the Scarlet Canon AL kit I thought this was as good a place as any to start... My question is this: Is the List being maintained/monitored or is it a free for all, the past few days it has been through many iterations some of which made no sense. My order is #6800 12/10/2011.
 
Fun way to look at the list... About 40 cameras have been listed as out/allocated as of this posting... I am 4721, but I'm only 356 on the list... about half a dozen orders have been canceled, and over a dozen are in Europe... this makes me more hopeful than before. Probably means nothing, but huzzah all the same.

Got my TI Canon mount last week. Sitting in a box with no epic to put it on.... Ordered the 30th of August. Yours should get there soon!!! However, if you wanted to rent mine for a couple weeks we could arrange that.
 
Well, I'm hoping to see another big blast of allocations tomorrow. I'll be in L.A. from Tuesday afternoon until Thursday afternoon and am dreading the thought of my camera shipping back home to Houston before I get there. Poor girl will be all alone :(

My Bomb squad Rep said some time in january is a good guess. im like 1000-1300 in line.

What he seemed to be getting at was that they are waiting for a huge shipment of LCD's, and then they will ship alot of them in one go.

That makes sense, I ordered my touch screen nov. 7th, and was told by my rep that it would be shipped with the scarlet (whenever that will be). I did have some items i needed for a different deal (time code cables), and they shipped that immediately.

This sort of clears up the mystery of the 3 digit versus 4 digit So's to me. Mine is 50947 and I placed the order 127 minutes after the store opened on 3rd of november. It's a rather strange method, but it makes sense that 502728 could make you 1000-1300 in line (it is 1878 away from 50850, the claimed number one position, but 600 orders could be related to accessories). Anyhow, I'm 50947, Al Canon mount, not in the event, supposedly 97, which makes January more feasible than ever!
