  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

redmotes and side handles, who is still missing theirs?

Seems like some people are getting redmotes and side handles delivered out of order.

Anyone else still waiting for their redmote and sidehandle ordered with their EPICX stage 2 package?

Redmote for me. I expect several others. Par for the course. If nothing else, RED has taught me patience. At the moment REdmotes have limited functionality with their really short wireless range. It'll come when it's ready.
 
Waiting for redmote but have my sidehandle that i ordered shortly it was available in store. Side handle is NOT part of stage 2. Eagerly awaiting the quad batter module howevere hehe:-P
 
hey George. thanks. so you have your epicX? and your side handle... but you are saying that you did a special seperate purchase from the red.com store, seperate to your epicX?

ok thanks. Dave, you got your side handle a week ago from your main EPICX stage 2 order? or did you do a special red.com purchase of the side handle separate?
 
Side handle is NOT included in the Stage 2 EPIC-X Package. I ordered one directly from the store a few months ago and it arrived last week.

If you want to go super stripped down hand-held, it's a fantastic option!

yes side handle was purchased separately from the epic-x. it is not included in stage 2 so it had to be ordered. I placed the order for the side handle long before the notification for Epic-X was ready.

It's the Epic-M package that includes the side handle.
 
I am not saying anywhere that a side handle was included in anything.

Seems like we have people with way higher EPICX numbers now with their redmotes and side handles etc, because it looks like somehow these were shipped to people out of order of the EPICX shipments.....

so we have people with EPICX cameras with no side handles or redmotes and people with redmotes and sidehandles with no EPICX cameras.....

so ya...


hope to get the emails, and shipments soon.

Side handle last week which I also ordered separately as its not part of EPIC - X package.

Got a REDMOTE for 152 today (but has a stuck enter button) and another earlier EPIC shipped but is not here yet. (I paid for this one later than 152)

Jarred just posted an incredible update... click his name and search... he gave incredible insight. their is a definitely LIGHT at the end of the tunnel.
and the BOMB is out of back order... did you ever think that would happen? :)

EDIT: Imagine how hectic it is keeping this all straight on their end! You are also forgetting "1100 M users" who also got stuff before us losers who got a FAR BETTER DEAL than they did ... just saying. hang in there man.

My Redmote finally came and was broken! :(

I ordered sidehandle, REDmote etc as a standalone order when they hit the store just so I had them If I ordered myself an EPIC/Scarlet. (ones in my signature are company cameras)

Got both now. Glad I did as I can pop them straight on my scarlet when it arrives. Wish Id done the same with the LCD.......

As far as Stage 2, not got either. Ordered Side handles with stage 2 orders. First EPIC #5XX
 
Still waiting for 2 REDMOTES.... 3 side Grips, 3 Canon mounts.... :(

Since I'm OS at the moment and most of my spare cameras are in AUS... I don't need these parts for the next 2 weeks... then Christmas... then a small holiday.. but would love them all in my hot little hands by the second week of JAN.

Fingers crossed.
