Nah, theres apparently a slight millimeter adjustment that needs to be made to the original PL mount, nothing major...at least thats what I read out of it and thats what I asked for when I got mine

No, its a slight change to the PL mount to better fit the EPIC mount. Not a big deal, Matthew Duclos does them quick and its free.

Very cool, I had no idea. I plan on ordering one next year, so yeah that is some helpful info...

And just so you know Jon, all the new ones are Epic and Scarlet ready. But when buying used, as I'm TRYING to do, not all older ones were sent back to Duclos yet.
