So this week, stage 2 will be finished, stage 3 will begin, and who knows.... maybe we will see some hints about stage 4; or better yet a big fat pre-order button on RED's homepage. But since many of us who are interested in Epic-X stage 4 are also first time RED customers, what can we expect? A deposit is due up front, but when do we pay in full? Will we have a dedicated sales rep to guide us through the ordering process?
I'm going to assume that the initial pre-order for stage 4 will just appear on RED.com...which means I am going to be glued to my computer or any mobile device every hour of the day this whole week. In the event that I am not by a computer and stage 4 does open up, is it possible to place the pre-order and deposit on an iPhone? Has anyone ever tried this?

I know that it has been well documented that we will be able to pre-order stage 4 prior to Dec.31st, but have a delivery dates ever been tossed around for stage 4?

How do you know???? I am stage 2, and I am still waiting for my camera to ship....

I'm talking about the December 1st deadline for stage 3. I was under the impression that all stage 2 orders would be cleared by that day.

Andrew
Stage 3 & 3.5 orders finish on 1st December. So at some point after 1st December I would expect stage 4 orders.

Going by other stages, you will probably require a 10% deposit, but I know if you want to pay in full at this stage, then you can. As for delivery, who knows but production is ramping. If you don't have an expectation, then you can't be disappointed.
