  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

You guys are crazy. :) The Epic design is based on the SLR. It's been around for ages.
 
Too much for too little. If it was 2k and did 1080p 60fps maybe....but $12k is alot for this. With the spec list now I'd say a fairer price is $8k-$6k, and in no way will this beat the RED announcement tonight. Scarlet will be the better camera even if it is $12k as well

Well, perhaps this camera from Canon, although it looks like plastic, CAN handle MOVEMENT nicely.. Because RED cameras all look awkward when something is moving moderately fast in front of them.
I'd purchase any RED immediately if those weird artifacts werent so devastating. When you go to the cinema... You can always see which ones were shot on a red. Jerky (unnatural) Movement !

FXPHD guys are saying it's oddly noisy which means not so good in low light.
