  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

tomorrow is my first shoot with the Epic M. If the footage doesnt look like that new spiderman trailer, I expect my money back..
 
Well ensure you have their lighting crew, actors, make up, special effects, costumes and budget. If not... Red can't help ya!

Is that good or bad? Is the RED's way better that you have to wait years for new camera? I'm sure most people would love if RED released new camera every year with updated specs rather than one in every 3 years.

I think what you said applies to both companies except that you will delay the product when new features are added and Canon will release new camera when new features are added.

So Canon put a new product out that had more features than the last 5D mkii every year? I must have missed something.

Red upgrades their cameras and they make cameras that are ahead of everything else in it's price range. The red one is still very relevant now.

You don't need local" Canon store", you need a store that sells Canon products and there's hundreds to thousands of those in every country.
 
You can always buy a Canon... and hope they upgrade you as you want. Or a Sony. You get to do whatever you want. That is what is so good about being the customer.

7D, 60D, 600D, 550D, 1D IV, 1DX all have more and better features than 5D MKII.

We do have about 5-6 stores that sell canon's prosumers DSLRs. I was talking mainly about tech support, upgrades, etc..
 
Is there any upgrade programm for Scarlet? (Of course Canon will not do it). Anyway Canon is back-breaker and if Canon will win in some details (for example ISO for night shooting) maybe not only one and two cameras will be on the same market for different assignment. But RED has to win!

F that noise ... I hate that you get no value back from CANON | RED is young, and beautiful, and they don't make you feel cheap at the end of the day.
