RED EPIC-M #892 STOLEN FROM ADORAMA RENTAL CO!! (NYC)

Hey everyone,

Sad news for Adorama Rental Co. Our 1st EPIC-M was stolen from a client of ours last night. If anyone has any info, or comes across the body (#892) please contact me here! As an aside, we were sad when we heard the news that our neighbors at Offhollywood and Mr. Pederson got theirs stolen, but now we know how badly it hurts. We sincerely hope no one has to go through what were going through right now. Thanks guys.

Talking about Looking at the camera serial#... In all my travels, when I come across and other Epic M I always check the serial to see if its #6... Now we'll have to make sure its not #892 either.

I hope you find it. This is the saddest new I've heard in a while. I hope it turns out and someone will be smart enough to know that your reward is much better than anything they'll be able to get for a stolen camera.
Please post this on every forum or blog you can. It should show up on Google if someone is smart enough to check the internet.

That really blows.. Will keep an eye out in Florida.. We need a FIND MY EPIC app.. I'd pay $1000 to know that the scumbags would get caught with some sort of tracking device like the iPhone..

I've learned two things from this unfortunate incident (JIM, IF YOU'RE READING THIS I HOPE YOU WILL AGREE!): One, never dwell on negative experiences. Two, when you get pushed-down, FIGHT BACK! We took this opportunity to reevaluate our interest and loyalty to RED. Not only did we reorder an Epic-M to replace the one that was stolen, but we also placed an order for a second EPIC-M package. And the Scarlet-X? Yeah...we just bought TWO full packages...for now! Oh, and did I mention that we are waiting for Epic-X's?!....as I see it, Adorama Rental Co. is making a BIG comeback. And I, for one, am proud to be part of the RED community. Thanks, everyone!!!!!

So frustrated for you! I'm looking into somehow integrating a GPS tracking device onto my Red Scarlet. I agree it would be amazing if there was some sort of future GPS option that we could get for these cameras...the world is certainly full of heartless, cold blooded souls. I will certainly keep my eyes out for any shady activity!
