Scarlet is now a professional camera. It will be more expensive. And there will be no discounts for RED ONE owners.

That is all the bad news there is...

AHHHH! I jumped so fast when I saw this post with hopes of a info. This is pretty good start though

2k,3k,4k 2/3rd FF35.... I dont care. I just want a clean,crisp RAW R3D image. Cant wait for 11/3/11

HAHA, may be not the bad news...
Will see

Was there ever a doubt that a RED product would anything other than a serious Pro product? Put the pretty, pretty in a box and let's get shopping!!

Well I wouldn't call that a preview. What else have you got for us tonight Jim? Spill it!

If you were expecting 3K for $3K... this is bad news.

Jim

No one will be disappointed if they ignore all previous conceived notions.

Will a RED ONE owner in line for an Epic-X trade-in be more likely to receive a Scarlet or Epic-X first? If they order Scarlet on Thursday, that is.
I know that has a lot of variables, but I couldn't help but ask!

Glad to hear Scarlet is staying professional... let the DSLR's fight over the prosumer chaff. Thanks for not being able to wait ;)
