anyone knows of a good custom foam maker in LA?
i'm looking for some simple rectangular cuts of polyethylene type foam to fill in my pelican cases.

I'm experienced with cutting foam on machinery, for precise repeatable and exact cuts. However, I'm on the East Coast but shipping ain't so bad for foam. What exactly do you need with dimensions please?

innerspace is indeed great and they made an awesome custom cuts foam for my lenses, but i'm looking for a cheap solution, where .. well to be direct foam is looked at as more of a waste and with straight cuts the price is around $50 for what's requested below.

this is what i'm looking for:

i have a pelican 1640 case I'd like to use to fit my mac pro tower and my hp dreamcolor monitor.
i got the case on craigslist for $120 and looking for a simple straight shapes cuts of foam made to my specs
i need a good robust sturdy polyethylene foam, since it's a heavy equipment (NOT the kind pick-n-pluck foam is made of !!!)

If you are on a really, really tight budget, I would suggest heading over to your local military surplus and check out their cases. I bought $100 worth of foam and a couple of cases and re-fabricated them for my purposes. They are extremely durable and weather proof and can be had at much lower prices. Most of them come with foam insulation anyway, so may not need to do much work.

Foam is easy to cut, all you need is a cerrated knife, spray glue, and some patience.
