  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

It is burning a hole in my head waiting to announce on Nov. 3rd.

I am so excited to announce that I can hardly stand it. Most of you know that it is hard for me to keep a secret. It kills me.

All I can say is that if anyone in this industry is not paying attention on Nov. 3rd... you had better have something really important to do that night.

RED stands for disruptive. By definition. It is in our nature. We love a good fist fight.

Nov. 3rd. 6pm PST. Sharp.

Pay attention.

RED is just getting started. The library is being built. The difference is that we are on the side of the customer. As time goes on...

I love the anticipation. I've cancelled everything for that night. Can't wait. Gonna order me up some gear!
 
I just finished a grade for a short I shot on Epic....but it didn't actually dawn on me until today as I was driving home that we just finished a film shot on THE WORLDS BEST digital cinema camera. That's pretty awesome. When I first read about RED back in 2008, I was convinced that the future of cinema for low budget filmmakers would be changed forever, changed by RED. And now with Scarlet being announced in 10ish days, I'm seeing further proof of how things are going....we are so lucky to be alive during this time. Thanks for being excited Jim, but more so for simply sharing that you are!

Peace out! Can't wait for the magical day/night of November 3rd.

I have the best girlfriend in the world. Ever since we've been together, there's one topic that she's always heard - SCARLET.

Last weekend I asked her to marry me (she said yes), and we set a date for next November. As is normal, the talk of how much to pay for the wedding started, and right out of the gate she said:
"No matter what, the first thing is for you to get your camera. Then we'll start budgeting the wedding"

I think in that one sentance, Scarlet became the first 'acceptable' mistress that any man could ever have...

Congrats Gary, on both the upcoming nuptials and the Scarlet! November 3rd/4th is certainly going to be a RED letter day for you.........:).
 
Talking about holes - I'm sure we the customers are full of them like a swis cheese. I'm sure all of them will get filled up on Nov 3rd. :-)
