Nov. 3 attendee questions: How will ordering work?

I'm probably needlessly concerned, but I had an account drained last month by unauthorized withdrawals; I'm a little worried about sending credit card info over public WIFI and have a few questions about placing an order at the Nov. 3 event:

1) My initial assumption is that placing an order will require at least a deposit. Is that correct?
2) Can we pay by check at the event?

If not:
3) Will the initial money transfer be for the full amount or will it be a deposit?
3a) If it's a deposit how much will be required?
4) Can we set up a RED account in advance of the event and make the transfer at the time of the event?
5) I have my firewall set to block all inbound connections. Is there anything else I can do to maximize security on a public network?

Thanks, Josh, you seem to have all the answers: I saw that thread, which is where I registered. Will we be required to transfer the full purchase price or just a deposit? Can you tell me how much the deposit will be? Can I set up a RED account and transfer the funds from there? I had a couple other questions but we can skip those if you have the important answers.

Hey Buddy,
I don't work for RED so don't have any other info other than they will be taking deposits 1 hour after the show. Sounds like the RED Store will have posted what ever products are being announced so should work like any other purchase. You could test your account by purchasing something small and in stock.

Pretty sure there won't be Scarlets in goodie bags to take home that night . . . so it's going to be a 10% deposit and wait thingy me thinks. Further than that - give your Bomba Rep a shout to find out specifics. Main thing on Nov 3rd is to have a solid internet connection and a credit card that works.

Curtis, I'm pretty sure if you place a deposit in the web store you can still elect to pay by wire transfer, so you wouldn't have to put your CC details in online.

I suggest setting up a Red account now and maybe wire $1,000 into it. Then talk to a bomb squad rep about it.

I imagine there will be a 10% deposit required just like everything else in the red store
