To add to that list we just shot $1,000,000 budget 3D movie "Banshee Chapter" wrapped 2 weeks ago....

thanks for a badass camera. Handheld and steadicam 3D is now more bearable......

Congrats on all the success!

WOW how much does this rig weigh ?

It doesn't look that heavy. What is the total weight, Pedro?

I can assure you EZ-rig.....is not the best name! It is heavy.....also awkward shape to control.

We never weighed it(my bad) but my guess is around 60lbs. We later made it lighter by getting rid of the "cage" on the rig and suspending it via eyehooks instead. Also moved the 2 batteries off the rig.

In any case...

for more info you should read some of the many articles on my blog....

I wrote article on handheld recently.....and on steadicam 3D.

All is made better by using the EPICS and the Atom rig on my handsfree SEGWAY!

and in case you had and EPIC battle scene with charging armies you needed to shoot in a feild... The EPIC/Atom/steadiSEGWAY combo goes offroad too...

....hardmounted on the segway the weight is carried by the segway......but it is still very tricky ......

oh yeah! Cameras and Atom 3D Rig provided by TONACI digital.....
