Forum Suggestions for November 3rd Announcement

I've been a twitter holdout until recently, and I have to admit that I find it immensely useful. I don't tweet so much as read the tweets/announcements of companies and industry vets. I have reduser.net in my RSS feed, but a RED twitter feed would work much better. It would be a much more efficient/user-friendly way to release important info to its user base (and potential user base). Just my opinion...

Instead of everyone and their grandma sitting in front of the computer hitting F5 every two seconds waiting for the news to break... why not setup an official red twitter account? That way we all can just be watching twitter at 6pm and then once the post hits, we THEN go to reduser for the full post and info? No constant refreshing, just one page load per person.

Twitter can handle the load... reduser.net can not. That has been proven time and time again.

C'mon... give us http://www.twitter.com/RedAnnouncements or something similar.

Btw, I should mention that I know about https://twitter.com/#!/r3duser. I just don't know if that's an official account. Also, without making this idea known to the general public... it's a useless idea if nobody knows they are going to announce it on twitter.
