I hear ya. The other option is get the Scarlet now a make some more cash with it and pony up for an Epix-X.

By nature, we want to plan ahead...know what's coming. But, sometimes, if you're too focused on what's in the plan, you miss the curve-ball comin' at ya.

If the Scarlet does come out by the end of the year at a reasonable price point with everything to get started for 6k or under just like the Sony Fs100, then I will re consider it but I doubt it will be as affordable. I still have hope in the back of my head because RED is a great motion Picture camera, but I am losing hope that it will be in my price range =( But here is hoping =)
