  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

Let the implications sink in.

Thanks to the entire team at RED for all of the hard work that is making EPIC a reality.
Thanks to you Jim - for the vision and leading the team that is bringing this new creative tool to each of us.

During its development, we've seen features added and continual improvement in function and design without compromise.
A lot of challenges presented themselves - some you could anticipate, others not so much. In the midst of it all, a new standard in communicating with your customer. From all the hard work and angst, a product that will revolutionize the industry.

From my perspective, the best way to repay everyone that had a part in it's creation? Capture images that will exercise and test EPIC to its limits...
With all of the capabilities we'll have at our disposal, that bar will be set high.

Who could dispute; Isn't it a great time to be a filmmaker!

Woot!! I have to think that our Epic is on the assembly line right now (were #63, but according to the unofficial Stage 2 list we are more like number 25). Anxiously awaiting that email.

It felt like such a short message from Jim for such a momentous event - I hope Jim, Jarred, and the rest of the Red crew are taking a moment to relish having overcome so many hurdles, instead of just focusing on the next challenge(s) ahead!

Hi,

With one EPIC M I am half drunk ,,, with two EPIC X on stage II and III I will be unable to move...EPIC is an addiction...once you get it you will know..GUYS YOU WILL HAVE AN EPIC HANGOVER.

Cheers to whole RED TEAM....BTW how many cameras per day???
