  • Hey all, just changed over the backend after 15 years I figured time to give it a bit of an update, its probably gonna be a bit weird for most of you and i am sure there is a few bugs to work out but it should kinda work the same as before... hopefully :)

KETCH ROSSi

Dude, camera or not that is an amazing sight.. What great latitude!! Direct sun, and the dark green of the leaves keeps up with the bright yellow! Fantastic!! Can't wait to see more.. Soooo when ya leavin for Japan? Lol

Edit: is this a still or a grab from footage?

I don't think this is one of his pictures ;) he said that he is "going to" take a few pictures. so I guess we'll have to wait a tiny bit.

This is a still I linked form the net, to reflect what I have near by that I am shooting.

We'll be leaving for Japan, before the end of the month, LOTS of fun awaits me and EPIC and the RED E. Canon mount oh and a load of "L" series Canon glass... ;)

Very nice!! How do you get that close with the 70-200 and extender? I need to be around a meter away??

Very nice, Ketch! I can't help but notice - no lens support here, despite all the extras - I assume you find the mount to be quite solid? As a stills shooter, how do you think it compares with the mounts on your canons?

Thanks Justin,

I also used a Canon 500D Close Up lens... ;)

Thanks Michael,

yeah NO LENS SUPPORT, this mount is SOLID as a ROCK, and did I mention some were before how much it really ROCKS?!? he he, love it, and it is DAY and NIGHT to any mounts I ever had in my Canon cameras,
including the 1D series Bodies, which in them selves are far better then say 7D, or 5D, the RED E. Canon mount, is a must have, for light work, for Still work, for run and gun work, and for any work that requires AF function.

And this is how you make a great image even greater, thanks Bryan... ;)

Oh, need to post this first color graded pass by fellow REDUSER Colorist Bryan Rowland, even so the actual internal color of the Sunflower is Yellow/Green and not as Brown, still great work!!

Ketch, you should take the end off of your RED handle (rosette?) so you can push your monitor down when needed.. It's just screwed on.. use a crescent wrench and something over it so u don't scratch it..

Hey Ketch,

What camera bag is that on the right? The one that looks like it has a pull-out handle and wheels... Does it also have straps to be worn as a backpack as well?

That is the Think Tank Airport International V2, there is also an other one I got and give it to Joseph, which has pull out straps so it can double as back pack, great bags!!

Yeah Justin, done that several times, but for this particular set up I have preferred to leave the rosette on, as I have been attaching the various elements I bough separately form the Clutch, so I can attach many more items on to this set up, by only lowering and or turning the LCD.

"KETCH ROSSi's EPIC M8 GLOBAL TOUR" STARTS HERE...

Sorry guys, for not posting any more stuff with the RED CANON mount...

Have not been filling well, and buried with other matters, but now up and running again, and about to move to the second part of my test for the upcoming BIG review of the RED CANON mount...

Which will take me + EPIC M8+ RED CANON mount to... MUNICH for the OKTOBERFEST... My Gracious host...
Our very own REDUSER and EPIC-M + RED CANON mount owner... Michael Kromschroeder... ;)

BTW.... Even so it was to be an other location the first, now it os happens that MUNICH, Germany, will be officially the first LOCATION for
the "KETCH ROSSi's EPIC M8 GLOBAL TOUR"... so stay tuned as I will continue to bring updates here on this thread, so to keep everything in
one place and without starting a bunch of different threads, as I fill will be better.

Thanks again to Steve Gibby without which none of this would have been happening right now...

THANKS STEVE, I know you don't do this kinda of Travel Shoots, but I DO, so girls here I come... He he.
