For intertest only. These Leicas with a VFG logo lozenge are 1 set of only 6 sets ever commissioned for manufacture. They all have the same front diameter and all the glass was specially selected by VFG and Van Dieman from the factory direct. This is why the VFG sets are sought after, they are definatly top notch lenses. How do I know this? I commissioned them originally. Cheers! Tony Covell.

I own a set with 10 Leica Van Diemen rehoused lenses
15 19 21 24 28 35 50 75 100 135
They are all VFG (maybe the 100mm is not, don't remember), they are great lenses with unique optical quality.
I must say that only unique DPs will find the guts to work with them.... and maybe that the way it should be.

These Leica lenses were made for 35mm stills, before conversion. They cover Vistavision frame size. Any other format is covered full frame. Check the contrast break between colours these are just stunning. I had them made for commercials at the time of manufacture but its a DP "who knows" who uses them!! Tony Covell.

but its a DP "who knows" who uses them!! ... totally agree one of the very few DPs who dare to use my set was Glynn Speeckaert on a commercial we shot almost 1 year ago in Nabi Musa Israel. He got some unique great images from this set of Leica lenses I have.

Just to clear this thread up, i am NOT SELLING ANY LEICA GLASS. This is an old thread that was revived when someone posted in it. Anthony Gratl IS selling some PL Leica lenses and his thread can be found here.
