Steven Meizler shooting with the EPIC and the CLUTCH on the set of Steve Harvey's " Think like a Man ".

" The CLUTCH lets us shoot on our shoulder for 12 hours straight and feel excited about doing it all over again the next day. I really like this handheld rig ! "

I love our Clutch rig too... The best kept secret is that it also gives you a substantial kit of very readily interchangeable parts with which to get creative at a significant saving over the individual prices.

I'm really happy with my Clutch rig too. I don't use the 19mm carbon rods for the front though. I just use a single 6" rod to hold the chest pad on. I just ordered the QR Plate with the 15mm LWS bracket to complete my setup.

I have a second Quick Release platform that goes on my tripod with a dovetail. Now I can quickly go from handheld to tripod and keep the rods attached to the camera.

Tried the Clutch at the RED store last week. Really need to try it on to understand the awesomeness. After put it on I was sold. Or will be once cameras begin shipping!

The Clutch is an extraordinary tool to work with.
I used it already on a tripod, on a dolly, on a crane,
on a jib and of course on my shoulder...:-)
I say the Clutch is epic, too!

... you guys are the new Arri. The torch has been passed.

Yah, I literally tried almost every shoulder rig available at NAB (and there were many) but NOTHING felt anywhere near as solid, ergonomic or adjustable as the Clutch. It's practically a work of art that will last a lifetime. I know that sounds hyperbolic but you just have to "feel" it to understand. Worth every cent invested without a doubt.

Ok, maybe I'm a bit slow but, is there a Red store in L.A. Where you can walking and touch this stuff before buying? If so, I need to make a visit.

It's right next to/part of RED Studios in Hollywood. :) 846 North Cahuenga Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA 90038.

As I said many times, the CLUTCH is like no other system out there, this is why even so with my Shoulder's problems, I did all that I could to modify the pad part, and or replace it with an other,
just so I can continue to use it, as it offers mounting options like no other rig has ever done.

Only thing I still wish for is a new component that allows for the shoulder pad to have moving parts as to allow adjustment for those like me that need specific positioning of the Shoulder Pad part... ;)

Anyone using a gyro system on the clutch similar to the pic posted? Would they work, needed for chopper and boat shooting
