Well, it's been more like Epic-M guarding the cat's this weekend :-)

Now we're on our way to Nice for some vacation time. Looking forward to posting more cool stuff when we get back :-)

Takk for det Eirik! Jo bare rop ut om du trenger en til, jeg gjør det samme.
Mon tro om vi blir flere Epic-M eiere i Norge nå som de øker produksjonen av de..

Got to play with Hans Magnus' Epic, very briefly last week, on a TV series shooting in the north of Norway . We needed something that would shoot faster than our Alexas and the Epic fit the bill.
I really enjoyed the size of the camera and the menus are a breeze with only the occasional head scratch. Loved the Redmote, but found the wireless connection to be very un-reliable despite being no more that 5 meters from the camera at any time, any ideas as to why? Also found the touch screen to be a little unresponsive at times but really enjoyed using it to navigate the menus. I would be nice if I could see and navigate the menus on the redmote screen in the same way not just use the redmote to control what was on the touchscreen (this may be possible all ready but I didn't have time to really test the camera). The image quality seemed great, with maybe a touch more blue noise in the blacks than the Alexa but hard to fairly evaluate with the tools we have available with us up here not to mention the difference in resolution! Rolling shutter problems are nonexistent, with negligible skew on a whip-pan.

Shot at 120 FPS on Red One M a couple of years ago, before I knew how to get the most from the footage!

Still, it shows some great cat moves!

Hi Jim,
You have a beutiful cat :-) Like a dancing star!
I sometimes whish our cats could be more playfull like when they where little kitties. Now they are getting older and grumpy, hehe.
